Arsenal could be offered the chance to offload Albert Sambi Lokonga after only one year, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that AC Milan are interested in the midfielder.
Lokonga has had a tough time since moving to the Emirates. It looked to be a coup for the Gunners to sign the Belgium international from Anderlecht.

However, his first season proved to be a challenging one for the 22-year-old. And ultimately, he only made 12 starts in the Premier League last season.
Lokonga did feature for Mikel Arteta’s men on Friday as they opened the new campaign with a win at Crystal Palace. However, he only came on for the final moments of the contest.

And it seems that that could now be one of his final appearances for the club. According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal are open to selling the youngster.
And it could be Milan who secure his signature. According to the Italian outlet, the Rossoneri are in contact with Lokonga’s representatives about a potential move to San Siro.
AC Milan interested in Lokonga
It would be a surprise if Arsenal allowed Lokonga to leave, particularly on a permanent deal. The Gunners are battling on four fronts this season. And they do not have a huge amount of depth in the middle of the park.
They also would have been aware that he would need time to settle in in North London. Vincent Kompany previously described the starlet as a ‘special‘ talent. And Arteta will surely feel that his time will come at some stage.
Of course, the situation may change if Milan make a huge offer. But it is hard to imagine Arsenal being willing to cash-in at this stage of his development, unless they feel they made a real mistake.
