Frederic Guilbert could follow Conor Hourihane out of the exit door at Aston Villa, the Express and Star report.
Last minute exit
Hourihane joined Sheffield United last night, and it seems that most of Villa’s transfer business is now done.
The latest update says that Dean Smith’s side are not expected to make any incoming signings and they also have ruled out selling most of their team at this late stage.
Quiet deadline day?
Villa have had interest in Douglas Luiz, but the midfielder is set to stay.
And it appears that Guilbert may be the only player at risk of departing Villa Park now.
Guilbert joined Villa two years ago in a £5 million deal (Birmingham Mail), but failed to retain his starting spot.

He was loaned out to Strasbourg last term, and it seems that he could now depart on a permanent deal.
Villa have signed Matty Cash, with Guilbert falling completely out of Dean Smith’s plans.
If they are to sell him, Villa should at least recoup most the fee that they paid for the 26-year-old, even if he hasn’t quite had the impact at the Midlands club that was hoped.
