TBR’s View:

Howe is an extremely highly-rated manager in England, as he took Bournemouth from a League One club up the divisions to the Premier League.

He enjoyed five seasons in charge in the top-flight before eventually leaving last summer after the club’s relegation to the Championship.

If Howe is now open to joining Celtic, then the club need to move now.

Whoever the new Celtic manager is going to be they need as much time as possible to implement their ideas ahead of next season, when it’ll be important they respond to the Rangers dominance this year.

Howe is the kind of appointment that should ignite some joy in the fanbase.
