Everton and Newcastle United are amongst a host of Premier League clubs keen on signing Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United in January, according to a report from ESPN.
It would be no surprise to see van de Beek leave Old Trafford in some capacity in January.

The Dutchman has only made two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season. And ESPN reports that a number of fringe players have been left frustrated over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not using them more.
The report claims that the 24-year-old – who cost an initial £35 million when he arrived in 2020 – wants to consider his options in the winter window.
And his availability has alerted a raft of top flight rivals. ESPN reports that both the Toffees and Magpies would like to take him on loan.

Newcastle face uphill battle amid Everton interest in van de Beek loan
It will not shock many to see Everton in the running. It was reported at the end of the summer window that a loan move to Goodison Park had been blocked.
Rafa Benitez will want to improve his options after a quiet summer. And the Liverpool Echo reports that he has instructed Marcel Brands to look for potential loan signings. And one of the positions that he wants to strengthen is central midfield.
Newcastle meanwhile, have to do business in January. Eddie Howe has inherited a side still looking for their first league win this season.
Signing van de Beek would be a huge boost to their hopes of survival. But with Everton and others in the running, securing a loan deal is probably not going to be easy.
