Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has impressed in Liverpool training in an attacking role, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Catching the eye
Oxlade-Chamberlain impressed over pre-season and has forced his way back into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
The midfielder was linked with a move away from Liverpool, but it seems that he could have a role to play in the first-team.
And that is due to the fact that he has impressed behind the scenes at Liverpool.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been used in an attacking role by Klopp in first-team training and he has reportedly looked very impressive.
Making an impact
He actually started in Liverpool’s first game of the season against Norwich City, although he hasn’t been used since.

The England international was on the bench against Chelsea though, which suggests he remains firmly in contention for a place.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain could fight his way back into Liverpool’s team on a permanent basis it would be quite some turnaround.
The 28-year-old has struggled for form for a lengthy period of time now.
But he is enjoying a good run of fitness, and if he could stay off the treatment table, he certainly has the quality to aid Liverpool, as they look to get back into title contention again.
