With the World Cup final just a week away, the return of the Premier League is drawing in quickly.

Arsenal have been preparing to restart their title challenge with a training camp in Dubai.

A report from Football London now shares that a number of players have joined up with the group.

The World Cup has caused huge disruption to domestic football over the past month.

Teams have had to adapt to losing a number of key players, who will return in varying degrees of form and fitness.

The Gunners have already lost first choice forward Gabriel Jesus to a serious knee injury.

It’ll be up to Eddie Nketiah to fill his role when the season restarts, although there are doubts over his ability to do so.

England’s elimination means that William Saliba is Arsenal’s final representative at the World Cup.

The defender has hardly played in Qatar, and should be relatively fresh when he returns to the club.

However, Mikel Arteta’s squad has been boosted by the return of Thomas Partey and Matt Turner to training.

The pair, who were knocked out in the group stage and last-16 respectively, can now fully concentrate on their club form.

The report from Football London suggests that the pair have also been joined at Arsenal’s Dubai training camp by Ben White.

A post on Arsenal’s Instagram account also shows all three players getting ready for action.

The Gunners have already played one friendly in Dubai, defeating Lyon 3-0 on Thursday.

Their next match is on Tuesday against AC Milan, and Arteta could throw all three players straight back into action.

The £45m midfielder has been instrumental to Arsenal’s success this season.

Partey has allowed Granit Xhaka to flourish in a more advanced role and thrived in a single pivot.

Matt Turner also has plenty of prove after his summer move, and had a very positive World Cup with the USA.

So much so, that there were calls from some American pundits that he needs to leave Arsenal to pursue first-team football.

Arteta is unlikely to let that happen, and will use this training camp to assess Partey and Turner’s fitness and performances.

It won’t be long until the Gunners are back in action, with West Ham their Boxing Day opponents.
