According to Tutto Mercato Web, Joaquin Correa has asked to leave Lazio amid interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton.
What’s the story?
Well, the 6-cap Argentina international’s name has been in the spotlight throughout the majority of this summer.
Arsenal and Everton were said to have made bids for the 27-year-old.
Tottenham are also believed to have made an offer for the South American.
Now, Tutto Mercato Web believe Correa wants out, with Maurizio Sarri confirming that his No.11 isn’t in the right frame of mind to play.
“We are talking about a strong player but he expressed his idea about the future in unsuspecting times. He is not in the ideal mental conditions to play matches. He is behaving very well, in training he gives everything.”
In fairness, Sarri clearly admits that Correa has still given 100% in training, and his behaviour has been spot on.
If anything, that should make the Premier League trio even more keen to sign him, as he’s clearly a good professional.
What would Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton be getting in Correa?

Well, as aforesaid, they’d be getting a fine professional for a start.
Additionally, whoever lands Correa will also be getting a seriously versatile forward.
As Transfermarkt shows, the Argentine has played all across the frontline throughout his career.
Correa has popped up on both flanks as a wide forward, as well as playing in the centre too.

Interestingly, he has also played deeper in an attacking midfield role.
After he informed Sarri that he wanted to leave, it seems like Correa could be easily obtainable for Arsenal, Tottenham or Everton.
Should either of them make an attractive offer, we could see progress made on this deal very, very quickly given his desire to leave.
