Naby Keita is set to start in Liverpool’s opener against Norwich City, the Athletic report.

Liverpool are going to be without Curtis Jones for the clash on Saturday, after the young midfielder picked up an injury in the club’s final pre-season match.
Jordan Henderson and Thiago are also not said to be match fit in the latest piece, which means Keita and Fabinho’s places in Liverpool’s team look assured.
The latest update claims that the pair are highly ‘likely’ to be selected by Jurgen Klopp, with only one other place up for grabs.
That could be taken by James Milner, Harvey Elliott or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Fabinho, Keita and one more…
The safest bet out of the trio may be to pick Milner, who has always been a reliable option for Liverpool and Klopp.
However, Elliott and Oxlade-Chamberlain have been two of the Reds’ most impressive players over pre-season.

Elliott has often been used in a central role, and he has caught the eye, despite his tender years.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, meanwhile, has finally managed to make it through a sustained period without suffering with injury.
He now goes into the campaign with momentum behind him.
Klopp actually said the England international was ‘on fire’ after Liverpool’s last friendly, and it may be that he has done enough to convince the Reds boss he is worthy of a starting place.
