Hector Bellerin is still determined to get his move away from Arsenal this summer, the Athletic say.
Wanting to go
They claim that the right-back is ‘extremely frustrated’ at Arsenal for not finding a way to offload him already.
Inter Milan have been keen to take Bellerin away from Arsenal, but have failed to do so as yet, as the Gunners have been demanding a fee for the Spaniard.
Inter wanted to take him on loan with an option to buy, but Arsenal apparently only were interested in making a permanent sale.
Bellerin has even reportedly met with Edu to try and come up with a way which would allow him to leave which could suit all parties, but no such method has been found as yet.
Goodbye Bellerin?
Whether Bellerin’s stance will see Arsenal green light his departure now remains to be seen.
There was talk in the Guardian that Bellerin could be offered a new deal by the North London club, but it seems unlikely that he would sign it, after the latest update.
Bellerin was also noticeably absent from Arsenal’s team on the opening day of the season.
Calum Chambers was selected over him against Brentford, where Arsenal were beaten 2-0, and that may indicate that Mikel Arteta doesn’t see the former Barcelona youngster as part of his long-term plans any more.
