Newcastle and Tottenham both reportedly want to raid Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG to sign striker Mauro Icardi. Now, Jeunes Footeux state how much they will have to pay to sign him – a bargain £25million.

Icardi, 28, is struggling to start for PSG. The arrival Lionel Messi has provided Pochettino with one of the most-lethal attacking trio’s in world football. Messi, flanked by both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

It sees Icardi, who was once club captain of Inter Milan before his move to Paris, sat watching from the bench. He has played 20 times this season, but 11 have been as a sub. He has managed five goals in total.

CalcioMercato report that Newcastle and Tottenham are battling Juventus to sign the Argentina striker. It is believed, as per JF, that either interested party would have to spend just £25million to get their man.

Icardi price tag: £25m a good deal for Newcastle, Tottenham?

Without a doubt. His 38 goals and 10 assists in 82 games at PSG only half tells just how good a striker Icardi is. More so, his enormous 124 goals in 219 games at Inter is more a true teller of Icardi’s quality.

If given the chance to start week in, week out, he will gather momentum and return to the level of class he gave Inter. But can Newcastle give him the time to adapt? Will Tottenham give him the necessary game time with Harry Kane?

At £25million, for either side, he is worth the risk.
