Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey won’t be in Mikel Arteta’s squad for tonight’s Premier League game, according to a Football London report.
The £250,000-a-week star, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium in October, has been working his way back up to fitness after being out of action since early December.
Partey was forced off in the game with Aston Villa in November before suffering a recurrence of his injury against Spurs a month later, and he hasn’t featured for the Gunners since.

However, he has stepped up his recovery and has now resumed training with the first team, the Ghana international filmed being put through his paces at London Colney on Friday.
As good as it is to have Partey back in the training fold, Saturday’s game against West Brom may have come too early for him, if the Football London report is anything to go by.
The outlet claims he isn’t in the squad for the trip to the Midlands, going on to claim that the Arsenal medical team have pencilled in the FA Cup clash against Newcastle on January 9 as a potential return date.
TBR View:
Partey joined Arsenal to much fanfare in October, but sadly things haven’t quite gone to plan for him just yet, with injuries limiting his game time in the red and white.
However, it’s great to see him back in training and, while he’ll be missed against West Brom, the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe will continue to do a great job.
And once Partey is back and fully fit, then things could get interesting for an Arsenal side that has found form once again.
