Frozen out midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has now told his Tottenham Hotspur teammates that he is leaving the club.
The Daily Mail report that the Frenchman is closing on a loan move to Italian Serie A outfit Napoli.
They have an option to buy the club record signing for £26 million at the end of the spell if it has gone well for both parties.
It was clear Ndombele had no future at the north London club when Antonio Conte did not take him on the pre-season tour to South Korea.

Ndombele tells Tottenham teammates he is leaving
Napoli accelerated their negotiations to sign the 25-year-old after the opening weekend of the season, when they beat Verona.
It has largely been a summer of sales for the Italian outfit, and one of the players they let leave scored against Spurs on Sunday, in the shape of Kalidou Koulibaly.
They are also set to lose Fabian Ruiz to French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Ndombele will take his place in the squad.
The slower speed of Italian football should suit Ndombele better, and he is someone who has always struggled with the pace of the Premier League.
Tottenham will be hoping that the move puts him in the shop window, allows him to show what he can do and ideally earns them £26 million next summer.
The deal has moved quickly because of the relationship between Fabio Paratici and Cristiano Giuntoli, Napoli’s sporting director, who have apparently been friends for over 30 years.
