Report: £22m Tottenham player to return to training early this week
Heung-Min Son is set to return early this week to Tottenham Hotspur training as he looks to impress Nuno for the first team, Football London report.
Son is back
Son has been given extra time off by Spurs after representing South Korea after the season finished.
But it seems that the forward will be back at Tottenham in the coming days.
That will surely be music to the ears of Tottenham supporters, with Son set to play a key role for them again.
If Nuno is to maximise his chances of success at Spurs then getting the best out of Son will surely be key.
The 29-year-old claimed 17 goals and 10 assists for Tottenham last term in one of the most productive seasons of his career.
For all the criticism Jose Mourinho received, he did seem to get the best out of Son.
And it will be up to Nuno to devise a system where he can be similarly productive for the £22 million man (Guardian).
With doubts still surrounding Harry Kane’s future, Son could be even more crucial to Spurs next campaign – especially if he commits his future to the club and signs a new contract, as has been rumoured.
