Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is reportedly set to join Villarreal on a loan-to-buy deal, according to the Daily Mail.
The Spurs defender has been out of favour since the arrival of Jose Mourinho and has routinely been linked with a departure from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Foyth made just seven appearances for Tottenham in all competitions last season, with four of them coming in the Premier League, as is yet to feature in a competitive Spurs game in 2020.

With the Argentine not in Mourinho’s plans, speculation about his future has been plentiful, and in the past few days, rumours of an imminent move away have increased.
The likes of Fabrizio Romano and Charlie Eccleshare have tweeted about links between Foyth and Villarreal in recent days, suggesting a move was on the cards.
Now, the Daily Mail have claimed that Spurs are allowing Foyth to join Villarreal on loan with an option to make the move permanent for £13.6million.
TBR View:
Foyth clearly is a talented player and has shown promise when handed playing time, but there have been times when he’s shown his inexperience and made the odd mistake.
It can be argued that the 22-year-old needs more time to learn, but perhaps Mourinho feels that the defence needs to be watertight right away and cannot afford to be playing a defender that needs to improve.
