Spurs have been in need of a new striker for a while now.
And given the speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s future, this need is becoming greater than ever.
While the transfer saga surrounding Kane’s future is likely to rumble on, Fabio Paratici will have to identify and source replacements.

One striker who has been linked with Spurs is apparently being sought after by another club for just £3million.
According to The Telegraph, Paratici has his eyes on Crotone’s Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo.
The 29-year-old, also known as Simy, grabbed 20 goals and three assists from 38 Serie A games last season.
As per 90Min, Simy also made history with his goals, becoming the highest-scoring Nigerian in the history of the Italian top flight.
Could Spurs sign history-making striker for just £3m?
Simy has bagged 30 goals in Serie A, meaning he has taken the crown from former Inter Milan star Obafemi Martins on 28.
Despite the 6ft 6in colossus’ incredible goal tally, he couldn’t help the Calabrians remain in the top flight.
Simy’s £18,000-a-week contract runs out next summer which, combined with Crotone’s relegation, means they’re likely to cash in on him.

And according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Mallorca are willing to pay 3.5m euro (around £3million) for Simy’s services.
Salernitana and Lazio are apparently eyeing Simy too and, according to the above report, he’d prefer to stay in Italy.
Admittedly, Simy might not be a marquee signing.
However, he has done well in Serie A and would’ve been a good shout as a Kane back-up.
Obviously remains to be seen what happens about Kane and, if he does go, who replaces him.
But for £3million, Simy would still be a bargain as far as squad players are concerned.
