Report: £17m talent was in London for talks amid Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal interest
Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are just three of the Premier League clubs reportedly eyeing Ilaix Moriba.
Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal would be landing a top talent – but there are plenty of other clubs reportedly keen on him.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, West Ham, Leicester, Wolves and Everton are just some of the other clubs linked with Moriba.
The 18-year-old midfielder is out of contract at Barca next summer and is yet to reach a new deal at the club.
Barca boss Ronald Koeman has bemoaned the “horrible” contract stand-off and admitted he was “disappointed” in Moriba and his camp.
Now, according to MD, the teenager was in London last weekend for talks regarding a potential move to the capital.
The article also claims Barca would be willing to do business with Chelsea, given their good relationship.
According to Cadena SER, Moriba will not leave for anything less than 20million euro (£17million).
Moriba, who joined La Masia in 2010, has burst onto the scene at Camp Nou this year.
Koeman gave Moriba his debut in the Copa del Rey win over Cornella in January.
The midfielder has clocked up 18 senior appearances for Barca, including 14 in La Liga.
Moriba scored his first top-flight goal against Osasuna in March.
In doing so, he became Barcelona’s fifth youngest scorer in their history.
