A player linked with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur is increasingly likely to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to a report in The Telegraph.
Chelsea midfielder Willian has been on the books of the Stamford Bridge club since the summer of 2013, when he joined from Anzhi Makhachkala in a reported £30million move (BBC Sport).
The Brazilian has been a great servant to the West London club over the years, making upwards of 300 appearances in which he claimed 59 goals and 59 assists, according to Transfermarkt.

If the report in The Telegraph is to be believed, however, it appears as though Willian’s time at Chelsea is coming to an end – though his time in London could well continue.
The 31-year-old has reportedly been offered a two-year deal by Chelsea, although he was said to be after a three-year deal.
With contract negotiations having failed to yield a breakthrough, Willian is now “expected” to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.
As well as Arsenal and Spurs, Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the player, whose current deal is reportedly worth £120,000 per week, according to Spotrac.
TBR View:
Willian’s CV speaks for itself, having racked up 329 appearances and counting for Chelsea, and winning numerous trophies including two Premier League titles and a Copa America.
A fast, technically gifted player with great vision and a powerful shot on him, Willian would be an asset for any top side, and Chelsea’s loss could well be Arsenal or Tottenham’s gain.
The Gunners are looking to rebuild under Mikel Arteta and a proven veteran like Willian would be a great presence on the pitch and in the dressing room as they embark on an exciting project.
Likewise, Spurs will be going back to the drawing board this summer and the presence of Jose Mourinho, a coach who has a good working history with Willian, could perhaps sway things in their favour.
