French magazine France Football have claimed that Georges-Kevin Nkoudou will return to Tottenham Hotspur this summer as AS Monaco are unwilling to sign the winger permanently.
Monaco opted to take a risk on the Tottenham flop in January, bringing him in on loan until the end of the season. He was used just three times from the bench, before suffering a long-term hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old’s Tottenham spell now looks set to continue, unless he can find a new home this summer. Since joining the north London club in the summer of 2016 for £11million (ESPN), he has managed just 26 appearances.
With two years still remaining on the five-year deal he signed in 2016, Spurs will now have to find a new home for the ex-Marseille star. It remains to be seen if he will go out on loan again, or leave the club permanently.

TBR’s view
One thing is clear, Nkoudou has no chance of breaking into Spurs’ senior side – certainly the competition is far too strong for Nkoudou to even think about playing more than five to 10 times a season.
The likes of Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen, Moussa Sissoko and Lucas Moura would all be preferred to Nkoudou on the wing. Spurs would rather play wing backs than include Nkoudou.
His injury will also be a concern and Spurs must offload the player for any fee this summer.
