Everton winger Theo Walcott is edging closer to a loan move away from Goodison Park, according to reports.
The 31-year-old joined Everton from Arsenal for a fee of around £20m in January 2018 and has gone on to make 85 appearances for the Toffees.
However, he is into the last year of his Everton contract and has only played 12 minutes of the Toffees’ first four Premier League games.

According to the likes of Sky Sports and The Telegraph (1:43pm), Walcott is making his way to Southampton to undergo a medical ahead of a loan switch.
The England international came through the ranks at St Mary’s before moving to Arsenal in 2006 for an initial £5million fee.
TBR View:
While Walcott has done reasonably well at Everton since his move two-and-a-half years ago, it looks as though he’s now surplus to Carlo Ancelotti’s requirements.
The player’s experience, talents and versatility, being able to play on either wing as well as up front, will be a key asset for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
Meanwhile, Walcott is likely to get a lot more game time, and with Southampton reportedly paying part of his £100,000-a-week wages, they can free up some funds for late new arrivals.
