Report: 10 players could all still leave Arsenal this month, including £22m man who started v Chelsea
According to the Telegraph, there are still 10 players who Arsenal could sell before the end of the transfer window.
Big clear out
Mikel Arteta’s side have invested heavily this summer, but attention has now turned to clearing the decks.
And the latest update suggests that there are numerous members of Arsenal’s squad who the club would listen to offers for.
The Telegraph’s report first claims that Willian is close to leaving Arsenal and joining Corinthians in Brazil.
However, there are also a list of names who Arsenal are open to offers for.
Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Lucas Torreira, Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubayemang are all listed as players who are also up for sale.
Leno to go?
The most surprising names on that list may well be that of Leno and Aubameyang.
While Arsenal have signed Aaron Ramsdale this summer, it was expected that he would join as second choice at least for a season.
However, it seems that Arsenal could now cash in on Leno if they receive a significant bid, such is the faith that they have in their new signing.
Leno actually performed fairly well for Arsenal at the weekend, as they were beaten by Chelsea, but it seems that the £22 million German (The Sun) really does face an uncertain future.
Aubameyang’s potential exit has also been speculated about for a few weeks now.
And the Telegraph claims that Arsenal simply do not see their rapid striker as indispensable any more.
