'Reminds me of a young Gareth Bale': Some Aston Villa fans buzzing as club makes contract decision
Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to congratulate Kaine Kesler after he penned a five-year contract at Villa Park.
The 18-year-old has come through the ranks at Bodymoor Heath and was superb at age level last term.
Kesler captained the Villans to an FA Youth Cup win over Liverpool at Villa Park in May.
He also featured in 16 Premier League 2 matches, scoring four goals, and has played for the seniors too.
Kesler made his debut against Liverpool in the FA Cup back in January and has made four Premier League squads in total.
The right-back looks to have a bright future and Villa fans on Twitter were buzzing over the news.
