'Reminds me a bit of Coutinho': Some West Ham fans react to exciting transfer report

West Ham United fans have welcomed reports linking them with Igor Gomes.

According to The Sun, the Hammers have lined up the Sao Paulo ace as a potential Jesse Lingard alternative.

West Ham continue to be linked with Lingard, who shone on loan at the London Stadium last term.

But in case they can’t convince Manchester United to part company with him, then Gomes is apparently another option.

The Sun claims the 22-year-old playmaker would cost around £13million.

Gomes has made 56 first-team appearances for Sao Paulo since his debut in 2018.

His dynamic displays in attacking midfield have yielded comparisons to Brazil legend Kaka.
