Brentford boss Thomas Frank has heaped praise on West Ham United manager David Moyes ahead of the derby at the London Stadium tomorrow.
West Ham have looked incredible since the start of last season. Not many people expected the Irons to finish in the top half of the league table after what seemed like an underwhelming summer with respect to transfers.
However, the Hammers surprised everybody by finishing in the top six. They fell just two points short of fourth-placed Chelsea, which is truly an incredible achievement.
Frank, like most of us, was blown away by the incredible work Moyes has done at West Ham. He sang praises of him and his side ahead of the London derby on Sunday.
Thomas Frank: West Ham under David Moyes were remarkable last season
The Bees boss said, as per The Ealing Times: “He was not recognised as a proper coach, and what he’s done in West Ham is fantastic. He’s taken them to their second-best position, and the way they play, they have solid players in every area of the pitch.
“It just shows, with his coaching staff and staff around him, what a great coach he is, and I’m pleased for him.

“They got into the top six, which is remarkable, honestly, and they just continue this year, and they now have six points in the Europa League, so I think it’s a remarkable job, and I think it deserves so much praise.”
Moyes really does deserve a ton of credit for the phenomenal work he has done at West Ham. There were plenty of moans and groans when he was appointed for the second time, but he has proved all of his doubters wrong.
The Irons are in a great position now. They are seventh in the Premier League at the moment and are on top of their Europa League group as well. They’re on course to have another fine season, but Frank’s Brentford side could cause them a few problems tomorrow.
