If we told you Arsenal have the best player in the Premier League right now, you probably wouldn’t believe us. But, that is the truth.
The Gunners are having another fine season. They are on top of the Premier League ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City and are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League as well.
Mikel Arteta will be really proud of his players for their performances so far.
Many of them have been incredible, which makes it hard to pick who their best player actually has been in the Premier League this term.
WhoScored have released their ratings now, and there’s one clear winner.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is the highest-rated player in the Premier League
There were a lot of people who claimed Bukayo Saka was having a poor season at Arsenal earlier on in the campaign.
The Englishman wasn’t at his best by any means, but his numbers still looked really good back then, and they are absolutely incredible right now.
WhoScored released their Premier League Team of the Season so far, and Saka has received the highest rating of all the players in the English top flight. He’s even ahead of Erling Haaland and Heung-min Son.
That is a fantastic achievement considering that he is still just 22 years old.
The outlet wrote: “With a WhoScored rating of 7.69, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is the Premier League’s highest rated player at this stage of the season.
“The England international is on track for his best season to date, with 13 goals and eight assists to his name, after 14 and 11 respectively last term.
“Saka’s remarkable performances have played a pivotal role in the Gunners’ continued title charge, with Mikel Arteta’s side top of the division on goal difference ahead of the final ten matches.”

One thing Saka has to do to help Arsenal win the Premier League
Bukayo Saka is having a brilliant campaign, and his numbers show that.
The 22-year-old has scored 16 goals and provided 15 assists for Arsenal in all competitions, which is a tremendous return for a winger. On form, he may just be the best player in the Premier League right now.
However, at this stage last season, Saka was having a fantastic season too, but he did not finish the campaign strongly. He scored just two goals and provided an assist in Arsenal‘s last 10 Premier League games, and that cost them the title.
That’s the one thing that has to change in the final 10 games of this season.
If Saka can directly contribute to 10 or more goals in the remaining games of the Premier League, Arsenal will have a good chance of finishing the season as champions.
