Reiss Nelson posts three-word message about 18-year-old Arsenal prospect on Instagram
Reiss Nelson has sent a brief message about Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino.
Taking to Instagram, the on-loan winger has told his followers to ‘remember the name’.
Patino was widely praised across social media by fans and experts for his performance as the young guns lost 2-1 to Swindon Town.
A compilation clip of his performance against the League One side appeared on Twitter and was widely lauded.
Nelson has a history of warning supporters about young, emerging talents from Hale End academy. During a 2018 interview with David Ornstein, the winger praised a certain Croydon-born ace, claiming he was the next big thing.
And it seems he has high hopes for the young midfielder.
Should Arsenal trust Nelson after Patino endorsement?
It seems Nelson has a knack of picking out the most talented players amongst his peers.
But, the question is, should Arsenal trust Nelson after his endorsement of Patino?
It went well with Smith Rowe, who has since blossomed into a first-team starter. As a matter of fact, the attacker is one of the first names on the team sheet for Mikel Arteta nowadays.
With Arsenal suffering big problems in the centre of midfield, could Patino’s opportunity be coming sooner rather than later?
Mohamed Elneny is out for two to three weeks. Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka is banned, while Thomas Partey is only just returning from injury.
It seems we may find out sooner rather than later whether Nelson is right about another Arsenal starlet.
