Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has liked what he’s seen from summer signing Nicolas Pepe so far.
The Gunners were able to beat off competition from several teams around Europe to land the Ivorian attacker in a reported £72 million deal this summer (BBC Sport).
The rapid 24-year-old became the club’s new record signing, and is currently getting up to speed at his new club after featuring at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Pepe was left on the bench by Unai Emery for Arsenal’s opening Premier League game with Newcastle United with youngster Nelson taking his place.
Speaking about his new teammate, Nelson said (football.london): “He’s settled in well and he looks a really good addition. We saw little glimpses on the pitch [against Newcastle] and you could see he has the flair we need on the right hand side.
TBR’s view
Arsenal fans did manage to get a glimpse of Pepe and will be highly anticipating him starting against Burnley on Saturday.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was particularly disappointing against Newcastle and surely has to make way for Pepe if the former Lille man is anywhere close to full fitness.
With Alexandre Lacazette likely to return that will probably mean young Nelson drops to the bench, but the Englishman could be a great option to stretch tired full-backs for Emery’s side.
