Unai Emery will be keeping his eyes on these three players.

Arsenal currently have nine players out on loan at varying stages of their careers. Unai Emery will be keeping his tabs on their progress in case he can use any next season.

Here are three Arsenal loanees who stand a chance of earning a first-team promotion for the 2019/20 campaign.

Chambers was sent out on loan for the second time in his career and he has been relegated from the Premier League both times.

The 24-year-old previously went down with Middlesbrough and he has suffered the same fate with Fulham this season.

But the three-cap England international has been a standout performer for the Cottagers in a new holding midfield role, suggesting he could play there for Arsenal or as a ball-playing centre-half.

Nelson has caught the eye this season with some impressive performances on loan with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

With seven goals in 19 games (five of which have been starts), the England under-21 attacker is showing signs that he can break into Arsenal’s team in the near future.

Last weekend, the 19-year-old broke his goal drought and he will be aiming for an impressive last month to prove his point to Emery.

Smith Rowe joined Nelson in Germany during the January transfer window, joining Red Bull Leipzig despite being out injured at the time.

The 18-year-old winger is now back fit again and made his debut as a late substitute against Wolfsburg recently.

After scoring three goals in six cup games for Arsenal earlier in the season, the England under-19 starlet has proven that he has a bright future and Emery might promote him sooner rather than later if he impresses in his final month at RB Leipzig.
