Glasgow Rangers winger Jordan Jones is currently plying his trade away from Ibrox on loan.
As things stand, the 26-year-old looks to have an uphill battle trying to win Steven Gerrard over.
Jones has struggled for game time since arriving at Rangers, and his red card against Celtic and an off-the-pitch incident last year didn’t do him any favours either.

Late in the January transfer window, he sealed a switch to English League One side Sunderland.
Jones made his debut on Tuesday night in an EFL Trophy clash against MK Dons and put in a promising performance as the Black Cats ran out 3-0 winners.
Two local outlets and a well-known Sunderland fansite all thought he did well.
“A promising debut, but there will be more to come from him,” wrote Chronicle Live, who gave Jones a 6 out of 10 rating.
The Sunderland Echo also gave him 6 out of 10, and wrote: “Looked understandably rusty on his first start for over two months.
“Refreshingly direct and went past players comfortable, even if on this occasion it did not yield much of an end product.”
Meanwhile, Roker Report gave him 7 out of 10, writing: “Showed flashes of his close control and turn of pace.
“Frustratingly we just didn’t seem able to feed him and give him more opportunities to run at Milton Keynes.”
TBR View:
Jones is contracted to Rangers until 2023, so if he does well at Sunderland, you’d think there’s every chance he could win Gerrard over once again.
It’ll be hard work though – the Gers are in superb form at present and there’s a lot of competition on the flanks, so it remains to be seen what happens in summer.
