Celtic supporters were left stunned yesterday as Brendan Rodgers was confirmed as the new manager of Leicester City.
The Foxes parted ways with Claude Puel following their 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Crystal Palace.
The Frenchman failed to convice the board and supporters with his methods, and was given the chop after embarking on a run of seven games in all competitions without a win.

Leicester have acted fairly swiftly in getting Rodgers in, and the new manager was present in the stands to watch them beat Brighton at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.
As predicted by most, a number of Celtic players have been in the headlines regarding their futures at the club now that Rodgers has gone – one of those being Kieran Tierney.
Tierney to follow Rodgers?
The Scottish Sun have reported that the Scotland international is already £25 million target for Rodgers – but that’s only if he cannot keep Ben Chilwell.
The Sun say Rodgers would have no qualms about raiding the Hoops for Tierney, who is also being coveted by Arsenal as claimed by the same publication.
Tierney is under contract until 2023 at Parkhead, meaning it could take a huge sum to prise him away from the Scottish champions.

He is one of Scottish football’s brightest young talents and he would be a great loss if he did follow Rodgers out the door this summer.
