Manchester City slipped to a shock 2-0 home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday.
The champions were undone by an Adama Traore brace at the Etihad Stadium to keep Liverpool eight points clear at the top after they had beaten Leicester City the day before.

Pep Guardiola’s side simply couldn’t break the visitors down for all their possession, despite them having been in Europa League action in Turkey on Thursday.
One man who was particularly poor for the home side was Nicolas Otamendi, who is having a torrid season for the Citizens.
The Argentine international made an embarrassing attempt at a tackle on Raul Jimenez as Wolves broke away late on in the second half.

The Mexican left him in a heap on the floor, before passing to Traore to easily slot past Ederson.
It was the kind of rash defending fans of the champions have grown used to down the years, and surely a reported transfer target is already better than the 31-year-old.
TBR’s view
Turkish publication Fotospor believe City officials want to open talks with Leicester’s Caglar Soyuncu after his fantastic start to 2019/20 at the King Power Stadium.

If there is any truth that Guardiola is keen, then arguably he’d be getting an upgrade on Otamendi.
Soyuncu has demonstrated he has all the makings of a top Premier League centre-half.
According to WhoScored, he makes more successful tackles and interceptions per 90 than Otamendi, and also gives away less fouls. The former Freiburg man also makes 5.4 clearances per 90 in the league, considerably more than Otamendi who makes just 2.9.
The 23-year-old is aggressive himself but nowhere near as rash as Otamendi, whose tendency to always go to ground in one-on-one situations is nothing short of alarming.
