Manchester United slumped at the weekend after a decent run beforehand and lost at home to Marco Silva’s Fulham.
A frustrated Old Trafford left the game feeling like it was back to the Man United of a few months ago.
The performance was lacklustre at best and with Rasmus Hojlund missing in attack, the Red Devils looked way off where they’d been in recent weeks.
A number of their supposed top names didn’t step up to the plate either. One of those being Marcus Rashford.

The England striker has had a dismal season by his own high standards and had plenty of stick for his performances and effort levels.
And speaking on TalkSPORT’s All Access Podcast, pundit Scott Minto has suggested Rashford isn’t even trying his best anymore.
“You know I was listening to Gabby and Jamie, not just the fans ringing in but them two, really scathing of of Marcus Rashford again. And again, at what point are we going to see Marcus Rashford absolutely, just at least trying, looking at least like he is going to be the man to step up,” Minto said.
Rashford has to do more at Man United
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Marcus Rashford criticised this season and sadly, it’s unlikely to be the last either.
Right now, Marcus Rashford is simply nowhere near the level he was last season. It’s quite bizarre really and quite why he has dipped so much and seems so disinterested is a bit of a mystery.
The frustration for United fans is that they know how good he can be. They simply aren’t seeing it from him anymore. Erik ten Hag, too, must be feeling a touch down about his striker’s performances.
Rashford, then, is facing a big few months. He probably knows he’ll be selected to play for England in the summer but even that isn’t a given if he carries on like he is.
