Danny Gabbidon slammed Leeds United striker Rodrigo Moreno for missing a penalty against Cardiff City on BBC Radio 5 Live today.
Leeds fought back from 2-0 down in Wales today to force a third round replay against the Championship outfit.
Jesse Marsch’s men dominated the opening 45 minutes of the game but found themselves two goals behind going into the break.
Two pieces of poor defending put Leeds in the position where they needed a massive second-half to remain in the competition.
Marsch’s substitutions proved vital as he made a triple switch just 15 minutes into the second period. Rodrigo was introduced for Crysencio Summerville and got them back into the game just five minutes later.
The Spaniard had the chance to put Leeds back on level terms from 12-yards out in the 81st minute. But Rodrigo put his effort straight at Jak Alnwick and he was on the receiving end of some criticism from Gabbidon.

Pundit slams Rodrigo
Rodrigo made a huge impact on the game in the second-half but will be disappointed to have not grabbed his second goal from the spot.
His effort certainly wasn’t lacking in power but it was far too close to the Cardiff shot stopper. And Gabbidon was fully expecting the £30 million forward to tuck the penalty away.
“Rodrigo with a really poor penalty. Comfortable save from Alnwick. He looked to get it into the corner but doesn’t get enough on it,” the former West Ham man told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“For a man that has been in form, the goal getter for Leeds this season. You expect him to stick that away.”

Leeds eventually rescued a replay as youngster Sonny Perkins came off the bench to score a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser.
Marsch will be disappointed that his side could only manage to rescue a draw today and they will now be forced to host the Championship outfit at Elland Road.
While the Whites have been eye-catching going forward this season, they have conceded soft goals far too often. Marsch will be hoping that new signing Maximilian Wober can help shore them up defensively.
The defender was introduced into the action in the second-half today and Leeds looked more solid while he was on the pitch.
