Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has been seriously impressed by Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski.

Speaking ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Nottingham Forest, Redknapp highlighted just how good the Swedish international has been since arriving in north London. “Not many players come in in January and hit the ground running like he has.

“I think it maybe helped Bentancur coming in at the same time, and he’s been another good signing.

“I think you have to certainly say that (Fabio) Paratici the Director of Football, has done a good job getting those players, he would have known them at Juventus.

“But I really like him, great balance, tall, athletic, he sees a pass, that front three is formidable, and they’ve also got Richarlison now who can come in and give you another option or variation.

“I’ve been so impressed with him, he looks like such a mature young man.”

Redknapp seriously impressed by Kulusevski

Kulusevski has been one of the most effective attackers in the Premier League since signing on loan from Juventus.

Five goals and eight assists in his first 18 appearances is a fantastic return.

He’s also linked up brilliantly with Spurs stars Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, making two of the league’s best forwards even more prolific.

Kulusevski has already spoken about how much he loves playing with the pair and it’s no surprise why.

Antonio Conte has instructed Kulusevski to be more selfish in possession, although that might not go down too well with his fellow forwards.

Kulusevski’s loan deal ends at the end of the season, but it would be a massive surprise if Tottenham didn’t make the deal permanent.

The 22-year-old has already opened his account this season, scoring against Southampton on the opening day.

It’s no surprise Redknapp has been seriously impressed with Kulusevski so far, and if his good form continues, it might not be long until he’s spoken about on the same level as Kane and Son.
