‘Really hope so’: Tottenham fans react to claims Dele Alli could start against Leeds

Tottenham take on Leeds United today in what could well be a scintillating encounter between two of the league’s best teams of late 2020.

Spurs are looking to get back into their groove after a stop-start few weeks has seen them dip away from being one of the contenders to win the Premier League title. However, they remain just 7 points off top spot so all is not lost.

Jose Mourinho could have to shuffle his pack today, though, and the Guardian has predicted that forgotten man, Dele Alli, could be in line for a recall to the first XI.

Alli has been out of contention for much of the campaign thus far but could see a chance arise against Leeds, with the likes of Gareth Bale missing for Spurs.

Tottenham fans, then, have been having their say on the issue on Twitter and it seems there’s a big clamour for Alli to do well and get back to the form most Spurs supporters know he can show.
