Tottenham face Crystal Palace this weekend in a game that may not be all that straightforward for Spurs.

Indeed, while Crystal Palace have been poor in 2024, they seem to have found some sort of spark under Oliver Glasner after an impressive win last week against Burnley.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s form continues to falter, they lost their last game against Wolves and have been wholly unconvincing in a lot of their matches since the turn of the year.

Speaking on his TikTok page, Troy Deeney has been discussing this game and how it will go, and he says this one could be a cracking match.

The former Watford striker gave his verdict on how this game will go, and he reckons Tottenham will bounce back against Palace with a 3-0 win here.

Deeney shared his verdict on how this game will play out.

“Oh, Spurs vs Palace is a really good game. I watched Palace at the weekend, a new manager, new manager bump, but I think that game could be a bit too much for them so I’ll go with 3-0 to Spurs,” Deeney said.

Won’t be easy

Deeney has tipped a comfortable win for Tottenham, but we can’t see this one being all that straightforward.

As the former Watford striker says, a new manager bounce can have a serious effect on a club, and after last week’s win, Crystal Palace will be looking to build.

Of course, Tottenham will be favourites for this game as they’ve been better Palace all season long. However, on the day, you can never discount a bit of an upset, especially when there’s a new gaffer involved.
