A number of Arsenal fans have criticised Alan Shearer for his latest Premier League Team of the Week selection.
The Gunners hosted Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s North London derby and ran out 2-1 winners over Jose Mourinho’s side.
Mikel Arteta’s charges fell behind to Erik Lamela’s impressive rabona goal on 33 minutes, but Martin Odegaard swept home Kieran Tierney’s cutback on the stroke of half time.

Arsenal then edged in front on 64 minutes when Alexandre Lacazette scored a penalty after being brought down by Davinson Sanchez in the Spurs box.
Lamela then went from hero to zero when he was sent off for catching Tierney with his arm, picking up his second yellow card in eight minutes.
As well as setting up Arsenal’s opener, the Scot kept Gareth Bale quiet and caused plenty of problems going forward.
However, only one Gunners player made the cut in Shearer’s TOTW – Emile Smith Rowe.
And surprisingly, Lamela also made it into the team, despite his sending off.
Needless to say, some Arsenal fans really weren’t impressed with Shearer’s selection:
