'Really dangerous': Sky Sports pundit in awe of what Spurs ace did in 12th minute v Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min delivered an impressive display as Antonio Conte’s Spurs got back to winning ways on Thursday.

The north Londoners had to wait an extra four days to make amends for their Conference League defeat last week.

But make amends they did as Conte’s charges picked up a 2-0 win over Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs took the lead in the 12th minute when Sergi Canos turned Son Heung-min’s cross into his own net.

Sky Sports pundit Stephen Kelly was impressed by the South Korea international’s delivery which led to the goal.

“It’s a really dangerous ball into the box from Son,” he said (2/12, 19:45). It causes a lot of panic.

“It’s been a really good start from Tottenham. They’re counter-attacking really well. It’s nothing more than they deserve.”

Son then got himself on the scoresheet in the 65th minute to make sure of all three points.

He started a superb counter-attack and, following good work from Harry Kane and Sergio Reguilon, struck to finish Brentford off.

“It’s a really good, sweeping move from Spurs and it’s what they deserve,” said Kelly (2/12, 20:55). They’ve been excellent.”

Spurs’ victory puts them just two points outside the top four.
