‘Really close’: Dejan Kulusevski shares who his three favourite teammates are at Tottenham

Dejan Kulusevski has been speaking to Tottenham Hotspur’s official website and has revealed who his three favourite teammates are at the club.

The 22-year-old only joined Spurs nine months ago, alongside Rodrigo Bentancur, as the pair made the switch from Juventus.

Kulusevski has made a huge impact already at Spurs, linking up brilliantly with Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.

But it’s not his attacking partners who he has named as his favourite teammates at the club.

Kulusevski shares who three favourite teammates are

Speaking to Spurs Play, Kulusevski was asked who his closest friend is at Tottenham.

The Sweden international couldn’t pick just one player but did name three Spurs players.

“I have a lot of friends here,” he said.

“Rodrigo Bentancur, Cristian Romero, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. It’s a really close team.”

It’s no surprise that Kulusevski named Bentancur as one his closest friends after the pair spent time together at Juve.

But the winger has clearly built strong relationships with Hojbjerg and Romero since joining Spurs.

Kulusevski also labelled Cristian Romero as ‘very funny’ during the same interview, so it’s the pair must get along very well.

There’s clearly a really good feeling around Tottenham at the moment as the squad seems united under Antonio Conte.

Spurs kick-off their Champions League campaign against Marseille tonight and Conte will be hoping to get off to a positive start.

Kulusevski and his teammates remain unbeaten in the Premier League after beating Fulham on Saturday.

Now the squad are facing a busy schedule over the coming weeks with European football underway.

The Spurs team will certainly be tested over the coming weeks as they’ll be playing twice-a-week regularly.

Conte’s men then travel to the Etihad on Saturday for what will be their toughest test of the season so far.
