Ian Wright has criticised Leeds United defender Ezgjan Alioski for his approach towards Gunners attacker Bukayo Saka in Sunday’s Premier League meeting between the two sides.
Arsenal ran out 4-2 winners over Marcelo Bielsa’s charges at the Emirates Stadium, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring a hat-trick and Hector Bellerin also getting on the scoresheet.
Saka had another superb game as he pressed much higher than in previous games to great effect, twice being brought down in the box, though one penalty appeal was turned down.

After VAR ruled the first appeal out, the 19-year-old was brought down in the box not long after, which Aubameyang converted.
Alioski had a particularly difficult game against Saka and there were a few occasions when he took a particularly physical approach towards the attacker.
And Wright was not impressed with the North Macedonian’s approach.
“I take real umbrage to anybody fouling him [Saka],” he told the Wrighty’s House podcast.
“When we saw what Alioski was trying to do with him in this game, he was kicking him all over the place! He was kicking him!”
TBR View:
Alioski isn’t the most popular of players amongst Arsenal fans following his role in Nicolas Pepe’s sending off at Elland Road in the reverse fixture.
The £15,000-a-week man didn’t have such joy this time round as Saka got the better of him for much of the game in North London, despite the Leeds man’s approach.
However, Alioski won’t have many more difficult opponents than the Gunners man, a player who looks destined for the very top of the game.
