Tottenham Hotspur will hope to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they host Bournemouth in a 2pm kickoff.
Spurs had seemingly turned a corner in recent weeks, but that came to an end as they lost 4-2 at Brighton in midweek.
Indeed, Tottenham were 4-0 down at one point in Thursday’s Premier League game, but two late Spurs goals made the scoreline a bit more respectable.
Tottenham’s injury crisis isn’t really showing signs of letting up. Spurs are now without Cristian Romero, who’s set to be out for up to five weeks with a hamstring strain.

Chris Sutton, previewing Tottenham’s meeting with Bournemouth on BBC Sport, acknowledges this is a “real stinker” for Spurs.
However, the pundit also feels Ange Postecoglou’s charges have what it takes to get over the line and back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory.
“What Arsenal do in January is going to be vital in deciding how they finish their season, but the same applies to Tottenham,” wrote Sutton.
“Spurs’ defeat against Brighton was a sore one for manager Ange Postecoglou, who is without injured defender Cristian Romero for up to five weeks. He is such a key player, so that is a real stinker for them.
“Bournemouth, meanwhile, cannot stop winning. They are on fire, and so is Dominic Solanke with eight goals in seven games.
“I can’t see Spurs’ makeshift defence keeping him out, but they will come out on top.
“It might take a Postecoglou rocket to get them back on track, but they have plenty of creative players and can cut Bournemouth open.”
Tottenham Hotspur on the right track despite bumps in the road
Tottenham have endured a rollercoaster of a season so far. They set the pace in the early stages of the campaign, but injuries, suspensions and fatigue have hampered their progress.
Considering how Spurs did last season and how they’re lacking strength in depth, it’s not massively surprising. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but the key thing is, the Lilywhites are on the right track.
The January transfer window should bring about some reinforcements at Tottenham. Top four is an achievable goal, and if they get into the Champions League, that will help massively when it comes to summer recruitment.
