Real Oviedo have confirmed on their official website that they have agreed an option to buy as part of the loan deal for Leeds United striker Rafa Mujica.
Mujica is yet to make his debut at Elland Road having spent the majority of his time with the Whites out on loan. He initially featured in pre-season following his arrival last summer.

However, he went out on two different loan spells last year. And he has once again returned to Spain during this window.
Oviedo have confirmed on their official website that they have signed the 21-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.

And they have also announced in the statement that they have agreed an option that will allow them to sign Mujica permanently next summer.
TBR View: Mujica clause looks telling
Mujica was always facing a tough task trying to force his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans. And his challenge was made all the more difficult by Leeds securing promotion to the Premier League.
But it arguably looks telling that Leeds have been willing to agree an option that will allow Oviedo to sign Mujica permanently.
It arguably suggests that the Whites are not convinced that the youngster will make the grade at Elland Road.
They will be aware of the risk attached to agreeing such a clause. He could potentially go and enjoy a fantastic year in the Spanish second tier and Oviedo do not need to think twice about keeping him.
So the fact that they are willing to leave his future in Oviedo’s hands certainly hints that they are happy to let him move on.
