Real Madrid have a history of pinching some of Tottenham’s very best players.
Luka Modric left Spurs for Madrid more than a decade ago, and Gareth Bale wasn’t too far behind him.
Real Madrid have been linked with Cristian Romero in recent times, but now, they have their eyes on another Spurs player.
Indeed, according to AS, Real Madrid are very keen on signing Pedro Porro.
Porro has been starring for Tottenham at right-back this season, and after Dani Carvajal’s injury, Madrid are in the market for a new full-back.
However, there is a problem in making this deal happen.

Real Madrid want Pedro Porro
According to this report, Madrid are indeed very keen on signing Porro.
However, Madrid don’t believe this deal is viable.
Indeed, the belief is that Daniel Levy wants €70m (£58m) for Porro, which is seen as an almost impossible figure for Real Madrid to reach.
Madrid are, of course, not afraid to splash the cash on top talents, but, as with any successful club, they’re not keen to pay over the odds for any player.
Madrid believe £58m is simply too much for Porro, and they may explore other options instead.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with Real Madrid recently.
How Pedro Porro feels about Real Madrid move
While Porro to Madrid doesn’t seem likely at this moment in time, the player himself is open to a move.
Indeed, TBR Football understands, via information gathered by Graeme Bailey, Porro is really keen to join Real Madrid, and his representatives have been in contact over a move.
Madrid are assessing their options at right-back as things stand, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jeremie Frimpong and Porro the three leading contenders to come in as new right-back options.
Right-back may not be the most glamourous position in football, but it sounds as though there’s going to be a lot of movement on this front over the next few months as Real Madrid look to bolster that position.
Porro is open to a move to Madrid, but, right now, a deal doesn’t appear to be imminent.
