Indeed, Saliba has been linked with a move away from Arsenal as of late, with Real Madrid said to be keen admirers.

Indeed, according to Football Transfers, Real Madrid are ready to offer a swap deal for the centre-back.

Real Madrid could offer Rodrygo for William Saliba

According to Football Transfers, Real Madrid would be prepared to offer a player in a part-exchange deal for William Saliba.

£40m winger, Rodrygo, has been suggested as a potential option, but, it doesn’t sound as though any deal is going to happen.

Indeed, this report also states that Arsenal have no intention to sell Saliba under any circumstances and are actually looking to offer him a new contract in 2025 instead.

William Saliba is priceless

Real Madrid would have to offer the earth to Arsenal to get William Saliba out of the Emirates.

There are few players in world football who are truly priceless, but Saliba is one of those.

The Frenchman is already arguably the best defender on the planet, and at the age of just 23, he has tons of time ahead of him as well.

If Arsenal are serious about dominating the Premier League and eventually the Champions League, Saliba is the type of player they need to keep hold of in the long term.

Arsenal’s spell of losing key players such as Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie is over, the Gunners now need to establish themselves as one of Europe’s elite, and that means they have to keep hold of players like Saliba throughout their peak years.

It will be interesting to see whether a Real Madrid bid for Saliba does indeed materialise.
