Razor Ruddock has reacted on Twitter after footage emerged of Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa delaying his exit from Derby County’s Pride Park on Sunday afternoon to celebrate with a disabled supporter.
The Whites gained promotion to the Premier League last week after Huddersfield Town produced a 2-1 win to beat West Brom, while Stoke’s 1-0 win over Brentford confirmed Leeds as champions of England’s second tier.
It meant Bielsa and Leeds went into Sunday’s match against Derby with no pressure on their shoulders – but the Whites still cruised to a 3-1 win. Jamie Shackleton, Pablo Hernandez and an own goal secured the victory.
Bielsa has become renowned for engaging with supporters and his willingness to stop and take pictures – and Sunday was no different. Videos emerged upon leaving Pride Park that he stopped to celebrate with a disabled fan.

The gesture from the former Argentina, Athletic Bilbao and Marseille manager was greatly received on social media as ‘El Loco’ continues to win the hearts of Leeds fans – and the rest of the footballing world.
Indeed, former England and Liverpool defender Ruddock responded on Twitter and although he has not previous affiliation with Leeds – he stated that he is looking forward to seeing Bielsa in the Premier League.
Of course, for that to happen, Bielsa must sign an extension to his current contract.
