Ray Parlour has told TalkSPORT (Friday, 7:35am) that he believes Arsenal fans would be delighted if the Gunners raided north London rivals and lured Dele Alli to the Emirates this summer – with the midfielder’s future still in doubt.
Alli, 24, was left out of Tottenham’s matchday squads against Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Southampton – and was hooked before the hour mark on Thursday night during a Europa League win over Macedonian side KF Shkendija.
The latest report from The Telegraph claims that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pull out of talks for Alli, while Inter Milan and Antonio Conte remain interested in a loan for the England star. Arsenal, meanwhile, want Chelsea’s Jorginho – as per Sky Sports.
Arsenal icon Parlour was asked if he would take Alli at The Emirates and while Parlour made it clear that he does not believe Spurs would sell the midfielder to Mikel Arteta’s side – he reckons he would be a better fit than Chelsea’s Jorginho.

“He would be more of a fit than Jorginho,” Parlour said. “They lack goals from midfield. Spurs would never sell Alli to Arsenal. Sol [Campbell] was different because he was on a free transfer, Spurs didn’t sell him. There would be uproar from the Spurs fans.
