Ray Parlour has suggested that Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang does a little bit extra after training to try help himself regain his form.
He’s got a phenomenal record of 76 goals in just 128 appearances for the Gunners, but there has been a noticeable drop off in form this season from him since he signed a new deal.
The speedster has six goals in 19 matches across all competition so far this campaign, with just three of them coming in the Premier League.
Aubameyang, 31, is a versatile attacker that has switched between playing as a left-winger and a centre-forward at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been lifted by the likes of Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette and Alex Smith Rowe in recent matches, but they desperately need talisman Aubameyang back to his best.
Ex-Arsenal midfielder Parlour has suggested he could benefit massively from some extra individual drills in training.
“I think his confidence levels are pretty low at the moment and every player goes through it in their careers,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“All you can do is train hard, keep going into training, even do a little bit extra after training. Bring a defender across, get a guy to cross the ball, and you make your runs, and just try get on the end of a few incidents.

TBR’s View:
Aubameyang knows every trick in the book after performing at such a high level for numerous years, he’s just going through a sticky patch.
The Gabon international may need a slice of luck to ignite his form and it looks like Arsenal will need him at his peak if they want to claw their way back into the race for the top European positions.
He’s got to continue working on his partnership with striker Lacazette, plus the presence of left-back Kieran Tierney should allow him to drift infield when he plays from a wide position.
