Raheem Sterling is expected to leave Chelsea today, and Arsenal has since emerged as a potential suitor for the 29-year-old winger.
Chelsea are pushing to sell Sterling to Arsenal with the Gunners in the market for a new wide-attacker, with the former Manchester City star working under Mikel Arteta during their time together at the Etihad Stadium.
With just hours remaining before the transfer window closes for another summer, Arsenal will need to move fast to sign the former Liverpool star, with Manchester United also interested in signing Sterling today.
And Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has not given his verdict on Sterling moving to north London.

Parlour not a fan of Sterling’s potential move to Arsenal
Speaking on TalkSport, Parlour shared his distaste at Sterling moving to the Emirates Stadium, with the pundit convinced that the 29-year-old would not become a regular at Arsenal if a move was to happen.
Given how crucial it is for Arsenal to sign an attacker for their title chances, there’s every chance that Sterling could become a mainstay if he hits the ground running in north London, yet Parloud isn’t so sure about the winger.
Parlour said on Sterling potentially joining Arsenal: “Raheem Sterling, he is not going to start, is he? If I am Raheem Sterling, I want to go and play football. That’s the reason you want to leave the club. He is going to go to Arsenal and sit on the bench again.
“I don’t get the move there from Raheem’s point of view. He has got to go to a club where he is going to play on a regular basis, get his form back to where it was, and get on with his career.”

Arsenal can get the best out of Sterling once again
Arsenal have proven to be a safe haven for players looking for a second chance in the game from Martin Odegaard to Kai Havertz to even Jorginho, and Sterling could be the latest name to join that list.
The winger is regarded as one of the best the Premier League has ever seen having won four titles with City and playing over 80 times for England, with Sterling’s time at Chelsea a noticeable low point.
Yet like many players who have left Stamford Bridge, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and Sterling would be welcomed at Arsenal with open arms and the support needed to get his career back on track.
