Arsenal currently sit fifth in the Premier League and Ray Parlour believes finishing just one place higher come the end of the season would represent success for Unai Emery.
As per TalkSport, Parlour puts a huge amount of emphasis on getting into the Champions League this season and feels they aren’t far away from doing that.
He said: “They’re still fifth and still got a lot to play for. If they come fourth, it’s a great season. Champions League football is the most important thing for Arsenal now going forward.
“If they finish fifth or sixth it’s been a failure. They went into the transfer market. It’s going to be interesting. It’s a real opportunity, If they come fourth in the league, it’s been a very successful season.”

TBR’s View – Arsenal’s poor away form continues but top four remains within their grasp
The struggles of the other sides in and around the top four mean that Arsenal could feasibly get into the Champions League next season almost on the basis of their home form alone.
Monday’s defeat to Sheffield United underlined Arsenal’s frailties once more and underlined the lack of progress under Unai Emery, but they are just one place below where they want to be come the end of the season.
