Robby McCrorie has joked that he has struggled to get away from being reminded of how his brother Ross managed to make an appearance in goal for Rangers before him when asked on Twitter whether he was impressed with his display between the sticks – and that prompted his twin to respond.
Robby McCrorie appears to have a fantastic opportunity to perhaps become Rangers’s number one at some stage in the future.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Livingston. And Steven Gerrard may perhaps be hoping that he may ready to come in when Allan McGregor hangs up his gloves.
But despite his potential, he will forever have to deal with the fact that his brother was the first to play in goal for the Gers.

The defender went in goal for the final few minutes of their victory over Hibernian last season. Gerrard had already made three substitutions when McGregor was sent off with minutes remaining.
And to make matters worse for Robby, his brother managed to keep a clean sheet.
And when asked about the latter’s cameo in goal, the Livi loanee admitted that he has not been able to live it down…
Ross McCrorie then responded to the tweet. And clearly, he had little sympathy for his brother’s predicament…
It may have been Ross who played in goal first. But perhaps it may not be a huge surprise to see the pair both playing for the Light Blues on a regular basis in years to come.
