Rangers should find out this week whether Joe Aribo will be joining the club or not. According to The Daily Record, the Charlton Athletic midfielder is due to make a decision on his future by the end of the week.
The report states that Aribo has been in talks with Rangers over a potential move to Ibrox. His contract with the Addicks expires this summer and Steven Gerrard is hopeful of adding him to Rangers’ impressive midfield quota.
However, as stated by the report, Rangers face competition from several English clubs as well as Old Firm rivals Celtic.

TBR’s View
Aribo had an excellent season with Charlton in 2018-19. The 22-year-old helped Lee Bowyer’s side win promotion back to the Championship via a play-off win over Sunderland.
Aribo played a key role for the London club and would be an excellent asset to the Rangers team.
Some Rangers fans will rightly point out the fact that central-midfield is not exactly an area in the team that needs strengthening.
But Aribo, as a more attack-minded midfielder, is perhaps an exception that can be made given his talent.
Hopefully, he will decide that Ibrox is the next best step in his career.
